Choosing silver doesn’t mean giving up on the look and feel of your hair. But before adding another bottle to the routine, it helps to understand what you’re choosing—and who makes it. Here are seven things worth knowing.
Shampoo and supplements do different jobs.

A shampoo can leave hair smoother, reduce breakage and make it look fuller. Those are useful benefits. They don’t answer every question about shedding or thinning.
The American Academy of Dermatology explains that hair-loss shampoos do not regrow hair or stop hair loss from progressing. A fuller-looking finish and treatment for the cause of hair loss are different goals.
Extra biotin isn’t automatically the answer.

It’s easy to assume that if a vitamin matters to hair, taking more will do more. The missing question is whether there is a deficiency to correct.
NIH describes limited evidence behind biotin hair claims and notes that deficiency is uncommon in healthy people eating a mixed diet.
Get to know the herbs inside the approach.
Vita Hair takes a Chinese-herbal approach. Its product information highlights ginseng, prepared He Shou Wu, Eclipta, Ligustrum and reishi—plants with names and preparations worth understanding.

Vita Hair has a history beyond the ad.
Vita Green began in Hong Kong in 1993. The Vita Hair range followed in 1994. It has been part of the company’s business for more than 30 years.
The brand reports one million Vita Hair bottles sold in Asia. For someone discovering it in the US, there is a company and a long product history to get to know.

The wood matters, too.
Lingzhi is a fungus that grows on wood. Vita Green’s published account of its work in Tianlin, Guangxi describes studying growing material, nutrition and different types of wood, then cultivating under a forest canopy.
The company started with its own experiments. The company describes its current model as supplying growing material and technical support to farmers, with an agreement to buy their harvests. It is a long-term cultivation relationship that reaches beyond buying a finished ingredient.

VITA HAIR · SINCE 1994A supplement deserves
a closer look, too.
You’ve looked at the routine. Now look inside the bottle—and at the company behind it.
- Micronized botanical preparation
- 30+ years of Vita Hair history
- A Hong Kong company established in 1993
A finer powder deserves a clearer explanation.
The herbs matter. So does the way they’re prepared.
Micronization means milling the herbal powder into much smaller particles. Breaking a larger particle into smaller pieces exposes more of its surface to the surrounding liquid. The amount of herb hasn’t increased; its physical form has changed.

Where does absorption fit into this?
More exposed surface and absorption are different measurements. Finer milling describes the powder; human absorption depends on what happens after it is taken. A specific absorption-rate claim needs a separate study. A powder-size comparison does not provide one.
Meet the people and process behind the bottle.
These are photographs from Vita Green’s existing quality page: a production operator, a bottling line and the company laboratory. They give a more concrete view of the business behind the name.

Vita Green describes a process that begins with herb identity and quality checks, continues through controlled manufacturing, and gives quality inspection a separate role from production.
Its Hong Kong manufacturing history includes GMP certification from 1998 and the Tai Po building opened in 2017. These are company milestones; they are separate from a test report for the exact bottle being purchased.
Know who stands behind the first order.

The Western US store offers 108 capsules for US$76 and 300 capsules for US$208. Tracked US shipping is free, from Hong Kong; the published policy covers import duties and customs charges.
Eligible first orders also have a 30-day satisfaction policy from delivery. Opened products are included and no return is required, with first-order, one-refund and fair-use limits.
Hair loss can have different causes. Appropriate medical care remains part of that decision, whether or not a supplement is chosen.
